China has reaffirmed its solemn representations on the US military plane's bumping into and crashing of a Chinese fighter plane Sunday over the South China Sea.
Assistant Foreign Minister Zhou Wenzhong reiterated China's position during another meeting Monday night in Beijing with US Ambassador to China Joseph Prueher.
Zhou said the US side should be held "fully responsible" for this serious incident.
