This year's 7-day National Day holiday is expected to be another "Golden Week of Tourism" in Shanghai.
The Municipal Tourism Commission and Shanghai Statistics Bureau have jointly launched a statistics and forecast system of tourism information, releasing latest travel services through media.
Shanghai International Travel Service began related promotions as early as in June. The travel agency said yesterday that it will receive nearly 10,000 tourists in 600 groups during the period of National Day holiday. Tourists will come from twenty more countries such as US, France and Japan.
Shanghai Spring and Autumn Travel Agency has confirmed that 15,000 people from all over the country will visit the city during the 7-day long holiday.
Moreover, a 700-people large travel group, organized by the Jinjiang International Travel Service, will arrive in Shanghai from Hunan Province on Oct.2.
