More Trains Ready for Holiday

Shanghai Railway Bureau predicted that travelers will reach some 2.1 millions during the coming National Day holidays -- 4.8 percent higher from a year earlier -- and as high as 245,000 people per day during the peak hours.
The bureau planed to add nine new train routes between Shanghai and Beijing, Nanjing, Hangzhou, Ningbo, Wenzhou and Wuxi during the period. Ticket offices will open their windows one hour earlier than usual.
