Tu Guangshao, secretary-general of China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC), expressed recently that CSRC welcomes the entry of the insurance funds into the capital market.
He made the remarks in his speech at the seminar on the jointure of insurance funds with the capital market. He also said that relevant departments have done quite a lot for preparation of the entry of insurance funds into the capital market and have already witnessed certain effects. CSRC and the China Insurance Regulatory Commission (CIRC) will take more measures to ensure the connection in a deeper way
He assured that the entry of insurance funds into the capital market, a dual-win move, will greatly promote the healthy development of Chinese economy.
He also stressed that such an entry needs an effective supervision, which will serve to powerfully guarantee the healthy development of the capital and insurance markets simultaneously and offer a strong push to the diversified connections of the two markets.
