Warner Bros.' 3-D horror "The Final Destination" managed to land at the top of box office in North America for a second weekend, taking in 12.4 million dollars over the three-day period, showed preliminary figures released Sunday.
The movie, which tells about people who survive a deadly race track collapse eventually die in a series of horrific accidents, is the fourth installment of a franchise that describes the unescapable human destiny of death. It has racked up a total of 47. 6 million dollars in the continent since its release last week.
