Hong Kong actor and director Francis Ng donated the first copy of his latest kungfu comedy "Tracing Shadow" on Thursday to China National Film Museum in Beijing. The museum was founded in 2005 to celebrate the centennial of China's filmmaking industry.

As a representative of new Chinese kungfu movies, "Tracing Shadow" will become part of the museum's permanent collection, joining other cinema classics "Shaolin Temple," "New Longmen Hostelry" and the martial arts epic "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon."
The latest blockbuster from the Huayi brothers takes place during the Ming Dynasty, when many kungfu masters from different regions fought ruthlessly for a mysterious treasure map hidden inside the Ming palace.
"Tracing Shadow" features mainland comedy stars Xie Na and Dang Haohan and aims to capture students and kung-fu fans during the summer film season.
The movie will open across China on July 30.
