Singer-songwriter Xu Wei, one of the most hailed pop/rock musicians on the Chinese mainland, will kick off his second live concert tour in April, following the success of his sixth album, "Love Like Youth," released last October.
The first stop on his upcoming concert tour, "The Day," will be staged on April 10 at Beijing's Workers' Stadium, was announced Wednesday at a press conference in downtown Beijing.

Xu Wei, a talented guitarist, said he will team up with top musicians from China, the United States, and Singapore during the tour through major cities like Shanghai, Chongqing and Xi'an.
With the popular British band Oasis coming just one week ahead of Xu Wei's gig, the singer is not worried about ticket sales. "People will come to your concert because they love your music," he said. "Take me, for example - I will definitely go to Oasis because I love their music."
Xu Wei held his first large-scale live concert in Beijing four years ago, which turned out to be one of the best-selling and most acclaimed concerts of the year.
