Chienese director Zhang Jianya's latest film "Fit Lover" is to premier around the country from Nov. 28.
Twelve of the country's best looking actors are cast in the film. The official website went on line not long ago. And a ceremony was held to promote the film. One of the actors Huang Lei and the vocalist for the film's theme song, Xu Wei attended.
The actors and the press got a sneak preview of the film at the press conference. Actor Huang Lei, departs from his routine scholarly roles and ventures into the part of a comic character - a sorehead painter.
Huang Lei, actor, said, "I never expected to play this part. The character starts as a hypocritical painter. There are some improvised revisions. The director added some touches to give the painter sincerity, making the character what he is now."
While Huang Lei performs superbly, singer Xu Wei still sees his own reflection cast in the role of the painter.
Xu Wei, singer, said, "Many artists find themselves isolated from the mainstream. This actually is the way they reflect upon themselves. The leading character reminds me of my own former attitudes and lifestyle. Now I shall resolve not to idle away my days and live each day pleasantly."
"Fit Lover" premieres November 28th around the country.
