The fusion development of Shandong Province's movie and TV industry and tourism was recently discussed at a symposium on provincial film and TV tourism.

The idea has been broached to create a tourist industry of Shandong Movie and TV Base by learning from the successful experiences of Hengdian World Studios and Wuxi Movie and TV Base, based on successful cases of cultural projects such as the province's Zhoucun ancient commercial street.

The Shandong Film and TV Group will invest in several key movies and TV series which require extensive shooting locations and can provide an opportunity for cooperation between the film and TV industry and tourism.
