The foundation laying ceremony of the largest heavy-duty truck logistic center in Shandong was held in Jinan, the province's capital on October 19.

Shandong Quanli Group has constructed the province's largest logistic center for heavy-duty truck parts in Jinan, the capital city of Shandong province, on October 19.

Covering an area of 12.84 hectares, the project is backed by Shandong Quanli Gruop with a total investment of 390 million yuan ($61.11 million). It is expected to generate an annual sales revenue of 500 million yuan after it is completed at the end of next year.

"We are committed to making it a center for the showcasing, delivering and exporting of heavy-duty truck accessories by making use of advanced information management systems," said Zhou Liping, president of Shandong Quanli Group.

Jinan is regarded as one of the major production bases for heavy-duty truck and automobile parts. It is home to many national-famed manufactures, such as China National Heavy Duty Truck Group.
