On Oct. 21 COSL's Semi-submersible Drilling Platform COSL Innovator, which the company's wholly-owned subsidiary COSL Drilling Europe AS (CDE) commissioned, comes into use. This platform has an overall length of 104.5 meters, an overall width of 65 meters and an overall depth of 36.85 meters. It is designed to operate in water depths of 750 meters and is capable to resist 12-level window.

The platform weighs 23,000 tons and can support up to 120 crew cabins. It has multiple functions, such as well drilling, well repair and living.
