Porcelain sculptor Yang Yufang has unveiled a new set of porcelain court ladies to the praises of art critics in Boshan District, Zibo City, Shandong Province.

"Through her works, we could feel she brings her life into her porcelain carvings," said Zhang Shouzhi, a professor at the Central Academy of Art and Design. "Her works are full of life interests and creative spirit."

During her 50-year sculpting career, Yang has won several national prizes. Her most famous pieces include "The Sighting" and "Bai Suzhen and Her Maid."
