A girl's room on the 5th floor of a dormitory building in the Hubei University for Nationalities caught fire at noon time on Wednesday. At least five other dormitories were also destroyed in the fire, according to People.com.cn.
Fire engines were rushed to the scene in Enshi in central Hubei Province, to put out the blaze. There have been no reports of injuries or fatalities.
According to a girl who lived in a nearby dorm, the fire broke out following the explosion of a battery charger. To date, the cause of the accident has still not been confirmed.
