A patient who died at a mental health hospital last month in eastern China's Shandong Province was found to have been severely beaten by nurses before her death. [Nanfang Daily]

Nurses from the hospital's emergency aid center told them Wang had died in the mental health hospital.
Zhu obtained video footage from the mental health hospital that showed Wang being beaten several times between December 9 and 15.
A segment uploaded by Zhu to various Websites showed a female nurse hitting Wang in the face with a mop, pulling her off a bed and then kicking her in the face.
With the lower part of her body naked in the video, Wang was also forced by three nurses to lie on a bed covered with plastic sheets.
The hospital has closed since the reports came out, according to the newspaper. Even the hospital's sign has been removed.
