The security certification system for ensuring the quality of products used for protecting the security of military facilities has entered force on May 1.
With the approval of the Headquarters of General Staff and the General Political Department of the PLA, a ceremony for inaugurating the security certification center of ensuring the quality of the technical products used to protect the security of military facilities was held on April 29 in a unit stationed in Beijing.
The above-said products refer to those that will be installed in important military facilities for guarding against such criminal acts as burglary, robbery and explosion as well as emergencies.
The center is mainly responsible for checking, evaluating and certifying the above-said products installed in military facilities.
