Seven people were killed and another seven were injured in a landslide on Saturday morning in southwest China's Sichuan Province.
The accident occurred in the early hours of Saturday, in Maoling village of Wenchuan County, leaving seven dead, seven injured and one missing.
The landslide also caused more than 5 million yuan (about 660,000 US dollars) of economic losses, with 700-meter-long road, 1,000-meter-long water pipeline, 1,000-meter-long electricity line, and 150-square-meter shed destroyed.
Preliminary investigations showed that the accident was a naturally induced mountain landslide, with the 2,900-meter-high mountain steep slope rock rupturing, leading to the landslide.
Local government has sent a rescue group and further investigation is underway.
