Railway service between Kowloon, Hong Kong and Guangzhou,
capital city of Guangdong Province will be delayed because of
construction works, Kowloon-Canton Railway Corporation announced
here on Sunday.
It said temporary speed restrictions are imposed on all trains
running through Guangshen line to facilitate the construction work
of the 4th track between Guangzhou and Shenzhen. Therefore, train
journey between Guangzhou and Kowloon will be lengthened by about
15 to 40 minutes, which will lead to the arrival delays from 30 to
80 minutes.
The spokesman said temporary arrangements are expected to last
until the construction works are completed by early March.
