Trying to escape a furious mob chasing him, a terrified robber in Chengdu, Sichuan province, ran up to a security guard of a residential complex, screaming someone was trying to kill him.
The man, surnamed Yang, was running after robbing a woman last Monday morning.
The security guard locked Yang in a small duty room and called the cops, who came with the woman he had robbed and handcuffs.
