Gerhanguri Emil, born in February 1989, is a deputy to the 12th National People's Congress (NPC). She is vice head of a town in Kashi, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. She worked in Zhejiang Province for six years and is familiar with the sufferings of migrant workers. In her proposals, she calls on the government to solve the problems and worries of migrant workers from ethnic groups, such as their eating habits and children's education.
