- China reaffirmed its commitment to protect the legitimate interests of foreign businesses after U.S. business lobbies called for a set of new Chinese cybersecurity regulations to be overturned.
- Along with urban expansion in the past decades, China has been paying special attention to rural development in hope of building the countryside into another economic engine.
