Premier Li Keqiang nominated a list of candidates for members of the State Council, or China's cabinet, at the ongoing national legislative session on Saturday afternoon.

Zhang Gaoli, Liu Yandong, Wang Yang and Ma Kai were nominated as vice premiers.

Yang Jing, Chang Wanquan, Yang Jiechi, Guo Shengkun and Wang Yong were nominated as state councilors. Yang Jing was also nominated as secretary-general of the cabinet.

At the sixth plenary meeting of the first session of the 12th National People's Congress (NPC), NPC deputies will vote on the new lineup of the cabinet.
