Leung busies himself between public service and family life. Tightly scheduled, Leung also attaches great importance to his family. "Unless very important activities, I rarely participate in the evening entertainment," says Leung, who is fond of gardening.

In his book “Our Home is Hong Kong,” Leung showed readers many lifestyle pictures, full of warmth and love. When talking about his family members, especially his children, Leung always brightens up with joy. As a father of three children, Leung's role in the family is irreplaceable.

All his children are now studying in the UK. "I am very strict with them. Academic performance is not the most important, but principles and life values are. They should learn to conduct themselves." On children education, Leung notes that example is better than perception. He pays attention to his own behavior and personal communication with children in daily life.
