The Blue Book of China's Human Rights (2011), annual report of China's Human Rights was released by China Society for Human Rights Studies on Thursday in Beijing.

This was the first time that the Chinese civil organization issued a comprehensive human rights report and the society said it will publish an annual report every year.

The book details the experiences and lessons in the development of human rights in China, analyzes existing problems, and suggests the way to further improve the situation of human rights protection.

According to the blue book, China has achieved great progress in the theory and practice of human rights since the introduction of reform and opening up. Besides China's human rights protection cause also has been legalized and institutionalized.

In 2009, the Chinese government published its first working plan on human rights protection, titled National Human Rights Action Plan of China (2009-2010), pledging to further protect and improve the country's human rights conditions in an all-round way.

Along with economic development and all-round social progress, China's authority should fromulate Anti-poverty Law as soon as possible, and raise the country's poverty line, the blue book said.
