Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Chief Executive, Donald Tsang, was expected to begin delivering the 2010-11 policy address at the city's Legislative Council on Wednesday morning to outline the policy direction in the coming year, the city's government said Monday.

The event would be broadcast live on the city's major TV and radio stations, it said.

At 2:30 p.m. local time on Wednesday, Tsang is also expected to hold a press conference to explain his policy initiatives in detail. He will then attend a joint television panel discussion forum at 7:00 p.m.

Copies of the address and other related publications will be available in the day.

Policy address is the annual address by the Chief Executive of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Usually, it is addressed in October, on the opening of the city's Legislative Council.
