Hong Kong stocks narrowed their losses to close down 98.79 points, or 0.73 percent lower, at 13,455.88 on Monday, supported by mainland rises.
Turnover remained thin at 34.59 billion HK dollars (US$4.43 billion), compared with Friday's 36.17 billion HK dollars (US$4.64 billion).
