China's share prices opened 1.82 percent lower on Friday, echoing a more than four-percent overnight plummet on the Wall Street.
The Shanghai Composite Index opened at 1,686.52 points, down 31.2 points, or 1.82 percent, from the previous close.
The smaller Shenzhen Component Index opened at 5,626.92 points, down 93.63 points, or 1.64 percent.
