Western African country Guinea has officially recognized China's full market economy status, Chinese Ministry of Commerce (MOC) announced Thursday.
The move lifted the number of countries that recognize China's full market economy status to 77, the MOC said.
Visiting Vice Commerce Minister Wei Jianguo signed Wednesday with Guinea government a memorandum of understanding on recognizing China's full market economy status, the MOC noted.
The Guinea side said it made the recognition in light of the huge achievements China has made in developing its market economy, according to the MOC.
