Twelve foreign-funded enterprises were recognized in the second group of "Global Service Partner of Beijing," the city's commerce bureau announced at its policy promotion event on Monday. 

In March 2024, Beijing launched the "Global Service Partner Program" in a bid to continuously provide more high-quality, integrated services to various enterprises and institutions in the service sector. In July that year, the first group of 13 enterprises of "Global Service Partner of Beijing" was unveiled.

So far, Beijing has provided nearly 100 instances of integrated services to these enterprises.

The 12 new partner enterprises encompass various sectors, such as technology services, financial services, and business trade services. Beijing will provide these companies with integrated services and continue expanding its global service partner network.

Beijing has been improving services for foreign investment, enterprises, and talent, creating new opportunities for foreign businesses to grow in the city. In 2024, the number of newly established foreign-funded enterprises in Beijing increased by 16.4% year on year, 6.5 percentage points higher than that of the national growth rate.

"As the capital, Beijing serves as a key window for China's opening-up and international exchanges, always embracing the world with an open mindset and connecting globally with a commitment to services," said Piao Xuedong, director general of the Beijing Municipal Commerce Bureau, at the event.

Piao said that Beijing will continue to expand its global service partner network, fostering a market-oriented, law-based, and international business environment, where the government's warm services and businesses' confidence in development move forward together.
