The Poland roadshow for the Second China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE) was held in Warsaw on June 10, coinciding with the 2024 reception for the Polish-Chinese General Chamber of Commerce. The event drew over 120 representatives from both Chinese and Polish businesses.

Chen Jian'an, vice chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), emphasized China's commitment to high-quality development and high-level opening-up, offering Polish enterprises extensive opportunities. He urged stronger trade and investment ties between China and Poland, as well as deeper industry and supply chain partnerships. Chen invited Polish companies to join the upcoming CISCE, which would help both countries boost their industrial and supply chain capabilities.

Chinese Ambassador to Poland Sun Linjiang underscored the robust integration of China's and Poland's industrial and supply chains, which has driven their sustained economic and trade cooperation. He encouraged Polish companies to leverage platforms like the CISCE and the China International Import Expo to deepen collaboration.

Marek Kloczko, president of the Polish Chamber of Commerce, highlighted the unique industrial strengths of China and Poland. He encouraged Polish businesses to participate in the Belt and Road Initiative and urged them to visit China to forge more concrete partnerships.

Janusz Piechocinski, president of the Polish-Asian Chamber of Commerce and Polish former deputy prime minister, addressed the need for enhanced communication and dialogue amid global trade protectionism, stating that Polish enterprises should participate in the CISCE to bolster China-Poland and global trade relations.

Hu Xinyuan, president of the Polish-Chinese General Chamber of Commerce, noted that the CISCE provides a unique platform for showcasing cutting-edge developments and trends in global supply chains, while also facilitating international business exchange and cooperation.

The CISCE will be held in Beijing from Nov. 26-30, 2024, bringing together industry leaders, policymakers, and experts to promote cooperation in global supply chains.
