The number of stock market investors in China rose by 973,200 in November, new data shows.

That number included about 969,500 individual investors and 3,700 non-individual investors, according to the China Securities Depository and Clearing Corporation Limited.

By the end of last month, the number of investors active in China's stock market totaled 211.4 million, the data reveals.
