Chinese group buying site Gaopeng.com has begun to cut employees, the 21st China Business Herald quoted company insiders as saying.	8月4日，記者從多位高朋網內部人士處獲得證實，高朋網近段時間正經歷連續性規模裁員。
"The company has been laying off employees almost every week recently," a middle manager at the firm told the 21st China Business Herald. The cuts began in July and are still ongoing, the manager said.	“最近差不多每周都會有人陸續離開公司。”一位高朋網中層員工告訴記者，裁員從7月份到現在，仍在進行中。
"We're not firing a large number of Chinese staff. We are just experiencing a reshuffling of personnel," said Ouyang Yun, chief operating officer of Gaopeng.com. "Only some of the sales personnel have been dismissed for poor performance."	對此，高朋網首席運營官(COO)歐陽云在8月3日接受記者電話采訪時給出的說法則是：“高朋網沒有進行規模性裁員，而是進行正常的人員調整。”歐陽云告訴記者，確實有一定的銷售人員因為業績不達標而被正常調整，而且裁員只涉及銷售人員。
Groupon launched Gaopeng.com in January this year as a joint venture with Chinese tech giant Tencent Holdings. The website was opened in February. The joint venture's management team was brought in from German subsidiary MyCityDeal, which Groupon acquired in March 2009. The team is now in charge of Groupon's expansion overseas.	2011年1月，Groupon通過與騰訊合資的方式進入中國團購市場。高朋網2月底正式上線。代表Groupon對高朋進行投資管理的是德國Groupon My City Deal公司。它在2009年3月被Groupon收購，并成為Groupon海外市場拓展的主要執行方。
