Boeing 737 gets fault reports in China –National Business Daily

China's Civil Aviation Administration called for airlines to detect defects in their Boeing 737s and replace faulty parts Monday, after more than 400 operating aircrafts were reported to have serious problems with their elevator systems.

The findings affect only some lines of Boeing 737. They are 737-600, -700, -700C, -800, -900 and -900ER.

Boeing said it has informed its Chinese customers of the faults and will provide technical support whenever needed.

Carriers are proceeding with the check and will report problems to the authorities.

Citic Pacific former chairman sells off stake--Oriental Morning Post

Chinese conglomerate Citic Pacific said in a statement that its former chairman Larry Yung has cut his stake in the company to 8.27 percent from 9.37 percent for HK$816 million (US$120 million), after selling 42.85 million shares on stock market on March 11.

It was the second time that Larry Yung cut his holdings since he resigned in April. He previously sold 60 million shares for HK$732 million.

Yung stepped down as chairman last year amidst an investigation by regulators into currency losses at the company.
