The gold price in Hong Kong went up 63 HK dollars to 10,555 HK dollars per tael on Friday, according to the Chinese Gold and Silver Exchange Society.

The price is equivalent to 1,144.45 U.S. dollars a troy ounce, up 6.90 U.S. dollars at Friday's exchange rate of one U.S. dollar against 7.7415 HK dollars.
