The Bank of Communications has teamed up with Haagen-Dazs in a co-branded credit card as it seeks to attract more clients.

The Shanghai-based bank has agreed to set up a credit card company with a registered capital of 2.5 billion yuan (US$366 million) with HSBC to strengthen cooperation. The two banks became partners in the credit card business in 2005.
