Hong Kong stocks went up 419.12 points, or 1.95 percent, to close at 21,886.48 on Wednesday.
Turnover rose to 64.56 billion HK dollars (US$8.34 billion) from Tuesday's 60.44 billion HK dollars (US$7.81 billion).
