Gold retail prices dropped to 226 yuan (US$33) a gram at branded jewelers from 235 yuan a gram yesterday, said the Shanghai Gold & Jewelry Trade Association yesterday.
Retail prices of gold move in line with international raw metal prices. Platinum prices fell to 365 yuan a gram from 370 yuan a gram.
