Synopsis:
Jiang Wen's answer to "Ocean's Eleven" is set in southern China during the 1920s. Notorious bandit chief Zhang Muzhi (Jiang Wen) descends upon a remote town posing as its new mayor, an identity that he has hijacked from Old Tang (Ge You). Zhang soon meets his match in the local gang chief Huang Silang (Chow Yun-Fat) as a deadly battle of wit and brutality ensues.
