Beyonce ends business ties with father

U.S. pop singer Beyonce has ended her business relationship with her father Matthew Knowles, according to AP reports Monday.
The 29-year-old Grammy-winning singer stressed via her publicist Yvette Noel-Schure that she and her father only parted ways "on a business level."

"He is my father for life and I love my dad dearly. I am grateful for everything he has taught me," Beyonce said in a statement.
The reason for the split was unknown, but Knowles said the decision was mutual.
"Business is business and family is family. I love my daughter and am very proud of who she is and all that she has achieved. I look forward to her continued great success." he said.
Knowles has managed her daughter since she made her debut as the lead singer of Destiny's Child in the late 1990s.
