A brand new international movie poster for the upcoming film, "Snow Flower and The Secret Fan," starring Li Bingbing, Jeon Ji-Hyun and Hugh Jackman was released Sunday, March 13.
The poster presents some mysterious colors, featuring only the main character, Chinese actress, Li Bingbing, in a traditionally embroidered wedding gown while holding a fan with the end lightly touching her lips.
New Express Daily reports Li Bingbing wears a dozen period costumes in the film.
Fox Searchlight has reportedly acquired the North American rights to distribute director Wayne Wang's adaptation of Snow Flower and the Secret Fan, based on a best-selling novel of the same title by Lisa See.
Li has traveled to the U.S.A. to promote her most recent film. Some showbiz insiders speculate the film will bring widespread public acknowledgement of her in the U.S.
"Snow Flower and The Secret Fan," slated for a release in July, revolves around two parallel stories across generations and delves into everlasting female friendship.
