Renowned Chinese pianist Lang Lang will perform a New Year concert Friday, on Christmas Eve, in Wuhan, capital city of Hubei Province.

Piano fans will hear famous Chinese works such as "Autumn Moon over the Calm Lake" and the "Colorful Cloud Chasing the Moon", along with Western masterpieces such as Beethoven's "Appassionata" and Rachmaninof's "Prelude", at Wuhan's Hongshan Stadium, according to the organizer.

Lang will also perform the "Yellow River", the piece he played at the Beijing Olympic Games, the Beijing Music Festival and other important occasions, which won him the title of "Son of the Yellow River".
