Mainland actress Kitty Zhang Yuqi has donned a wedding gown for a magazine photo shoot, showing that she has recovered from a breakup with her former boyfriend.

Zhang starred in Hong Kong comedian Stephen Chow's movie "CJ7" in 2007, which brought her instant media attention. She is currently shooting director Wang Quan'an's movie "White Deer Plain" ("Bai Lu Yuan").

Zhang started to date her former boyfriend, restaurateur Wang Xiaofei, in 2009. The couple was spotted many times by the media over the past two years. But earlier last week, news about Wang being engaged to Taiwan actress Barbie Hsu broke and was soon confirmed by both.

Zhang later announced her breakup with Wang on her microblog.
