Zhao Benshan to join film industry

China Film Group Corporation Chairman Han Sanping and Zhao Benshan, a household-name comedy actor on Chinese mainland and Chairman of Benshan Media Corporation met yesterday in Shenyang province for future cooperation.

After visiting Benshan's headquarters, Han Sanping went to the Liulaogen Dawutai Theater, established by Zhao, for seeing an Errenzhuan performance, the traditional comedic performance in China's northeastern provinces.
Han Sanping revealed that co-operating with Zhao Benshan, he will produce two or three movies each year, as well as setting up several cinemas. Han said he values Zhao's talent and power, and believed their cooperation will surely enhance Chinese film industry.
