Clothes and fashions of the 56
ethnic
groups in China will be exhibited in Paris, France, in October
this year as an important component of China-France Culture Year.
Sources with the Chinese Ministry of Culture (MOC) said here Friday
the exhibition would be chiefly sponsored by the State Ethnic
Affairs Commission of China.
To
ensure the success of the event, the organizing committee has
invited world renowned designers as consultants, and garment trade
unions in France as partners.
The MOC said characteristics of Chinese ethnic groups would be
displayed on the world stage.
