Third seed Amanda Anisimova of the United States will face Czech youngster Linda Noskova in the women's singles final of the China Open after both advanced from Saturday's semifinals in contrasting fashion.
Anisimova produced a dominant performance to beat compatriot Coco Gauff 6-1, 6-2 in just 58 minutes.
"I felt really good throughout the whole match. All my shots were working today, which is like my favorite way to play," Anisimova said. "My approach is going to be the same as it has been with every match. I've had a great year so far. There are a lot of new experiences and achievements that I have never been able to do before. I'm looking forward to finishing the season strong."
Defending champion Gauff admitted she was outplayed. "She [Anisimova] played well. I felt like I couldn't really have a chance of getting a rhythm out there, but a learning experience for the next time. I am going to take this and learn from it," she said.
Noskova, 20, endured a far tougher test against American fifth seed Jessica Pegula. After taking the first set 6-3, she dropped the second 6-1 and looked on the verge of defeat when Pegula broke to lead 6-5 in the decider.

Pegula held three match points in the following game, but Noskova saved them all with grit and forced a tiebreak. Although Pegula gained the early edge, Noskova rallied to complete a 6-3, 1-6, 7-6(6) victory.
"It was just two points away from a win or lose. It was quite a tough match mentally, physically, and everything else. I'm just going to cherish this win," Noskova said.
In women's doubles, second seeds Jasmine Paolini and Sara Errani of Italy beat Hsieh Su-wei of Chinese Taipei and Latvia's Jelena Ostapenko 6-4, 6-0.
Paolini and Errani will meet Japan's Miyu Kato and Hungary's Fanny Stollar in Sunday's final, while Anisimova and Noskova contest the singles title.
