As one of the key supporting activities of the 2025 Beijing Culture Forum, the 2025 Conference of Cultural Sector Investors was held in Beijing on Sept. 24.

Themed "Finance nourishes culture, science and technology cultivates a new chapter for the industry," the event drew officials and business leaders to discuss the integration of finance and technology in the cultural sector.

Sun Junmin, a member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Beijing Municipal Committee and head of the Publicity Department of the CPC Beijing Municipal Committee, delivered a speech at the event.

Sun detailed the city's plan to use technology to empower new productive forces, applying technologies like artificial intelligence to cultural heritage protection and content creation. He also said the city would improve its investment and financing services to strengthen financial support for the industry.

The conference emphasized integrated development across the cultural, commercial, tourism and sports sectors to create new products, services and consumer experiences.

Organizers released several key documents at the event, including an action plan for financial support of Beijing's cultural center, a research report on cultural industry investment and financing, and an action plan for financial support for new productive forces in the culture sector.
