On Aug. 10, Luohu district's first drone food delivery route officially took off at Cuihu Cultural and Sports Park.

Running from Teemall in Dongxiao subdistrict to the park, the drone can deliver meals to designated drop boxes in about six minutes. Including meal preparation and packaging, visitors can enjoy hot burgers or iced milk tea within half an hour — currently with no delivery fee.

The service covers a delivery radius of 5–8 kilometers and can automatically plan routes for both one-to-many and many-to-many deliveries.

"I was here with friends and ordered a lemon tea by drone," said Ms. Ji, a visitor. "It arrived in less than 20 minutes. It's fast and convenient. The drone delivered it straight to my hands — I didn't have to go to the drop box."

Drone delivery services will also be launched in Honghu Park and at Luohu Port, with plans to gradually expand to all parks, ports, and commercial areas in the district.
