The Beijing-based band played six songs, including fan favorites "Do You Want to Dance" and "Sad Punk," before an enthusiastic audience, as part of the evening's "Universal Cool Summer Show."
The concert blended resort entertainment with music festival energy, according to resort officials, describing the performance as part of their strategy to create innovative visitor experiences.
Universal Beijing Resort's signature seasonal campaign "Universal Cool Summer" runs from June 13 to Aug. 17 and features multiple time-limited experiences.
The "Universal Cool Summer Show" takes place daily on the Hollywood Amphitheatre stage and features performances by characters from "Transformers," "Kung Fu Panda," "Minions," "Madagascar" and "Shrek," accompanied by water mist effects and synchronized lighting.

The resort has positioned itself as an entertainment destination for young visitors through band performances, character encounters and summer parties.
The broader summer campaign has also featured multiple themed experiences. A "Graduation Season" special ran June 13 to July 31, while a "Back to Hogwarts" experience inspired by the "Harry Potter" franchise runs Aug. 4 to Sept. 1. "Universal Cool Summer" food, beverages and merchandise remain available until Sunday.
