The 2025 China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS), set for Sept. 10–14 in Beijing, will spotlight global health and wellness innovations at its Shougang Park venue. 

This year's health services section will serve as a high-quality platform for product launches, business matchmaking, research collaboration, and international cooperation — with several products making their global or China debut.

The exhibition will feature two segments: the Intelligent Healthcare Foresight Matrix and the Public Health Service Matrix. Participants include first-time exhibitors such as Elsevier and specialized Chinese health-tech firms, along with six Fortune Global 500 companies including GE Healthcare and industry leaders like Philips. Fortune Global 500 and sector leaders will make up more than half of all exhibitors, with an international participation rate of 53%.

Highlights include the unveiling of new national AI application pilot projects, showcasing real-world scenarios in precision diagnostics and AI-driven biomedical R&D. There are also special exhibition areas presenting cutting-edge medical achievements from Beijing institutions, integrated healthcare-eldercare models, smart home solutions, and adaptive equipment for aging populations.

Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) will also take center stage, with 48 institutions participating online and offline. Highlights include Tongrentang, the China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences, and Beijing University of Chinese Medicine, as well as immersive AI-powered TCM consultation experiences, the debut of a compact meridian therapy robot, and the collective presence of 31 national TCM service export bases. Four TCM-focused forums and a policy seminar will be held, alongside the planned release of 10 new standards, including the International TCM Medical Service Guidelines.

The Capital International Medical Conference will run during the CIFTIS, gathering top experts from China and abroad to discuss health technology innovation and industry development. The event will also feature releases of major industry reports, including the "China Hospital Clinical Research International Impact Report" and the "Blue Book on Digital Healthcare."
