The 2025 China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) will run Sept. 10-14 at Shougang Park in Beijing, featuring summits, exhibitions, forums, matchmaking, outcome releases and supporting events focused on the service sector and Beijing's offerings.
Nearly 70 countries and international organizations will take part, with Australia as guest country and Anhui as guest province. Both will send their largest delegations to date. Over 800 companies, including more than 330 Fortune 500 firms, have expressed interest in participating across the expo's nine themed sections.
The fair will showcase roughly 130 products and innovations from over 70 companies — including Alibaba and Schneider Electric — in areas such as AI, fintech, health care and green tech.
To highlight Beijing's contributions to the service sector, organizers have compiled more than 280 "Beijing Services" cases, covering areas like government services, fintech, smart health care and AI in education. Over 180 of these have been selected for a key resource database.
Event management will be enhanced by technology, with organizers using big data and AI. Shougang Park will provide more than 10,000 parking spaces and employ smart vehicle recognition to manage traffic. The dining facilities will be able to accommodate nearly 40,000 people, with outdoor seating under umbrellas and canopies.
Beyond the exhibitions, visitors can enjoy a variety of activities at Shougang Park, including extreme sports at the ski jump, a sci-fi theme park, cultural experiences and sports events. A self-driving shuttle will be available to transport visitors from the exhibition area to riverside scenic spots.
