China's first 6G-powered robot training field recently began operations in northwestern Beijing's Changping district.

The facility replicates real-world industrial environments, enabling rigorously assessment of robotic performance under challenging conditions, volatile operational scenarios, and extended continuous use. It serves as an advanced testing and training platform for 6G-driven robotic applications and an industrial innovation incubator.

By harnessing the ultra-low latency and ultra-reliable capabilities of mobile communication networks, researchers have achieved breakthroughs in ultra-long-distance, high-precision robotic control with millisecond-level responsiveness.

The project also integrates AI models into edge computing infrastructure, reducing onboard computational load while enabling real-time natural language interaction between robots and human operators.
